Biodegradation of Wheat Straw/PLA Composites by Four Kinds of Microorganisms

In order to compare the degradation of PLA composites by different microorganisms, and reveal mechanism. Actinomyces israelii, Aspergillus niger, Trichoderma harzianum Phanerochaete chrysosporium were selected degrade composites. The weight loss, functional groups, thermal properties crystallinity before after analyzed. results indicated that A. israelii niger had strongest ability composites, loss reached 7.14% 6.99% respectively for 28 days, which significantly higher than control treatment. According characterizations, it was found mainly hydrolysis microorganisms their protease lipase. Microbial would lead cracks dents on surface samples, increase contact area with thus accelerating rate. T. more inclined in during microbial degradation. destroyed crystalline region made they easier degrade. be helpful explore mechanism promotes its application fields.
